What this site knows about you
The one thing this site's own code puts in your browser, what happens when you follow a link out, and what's never collected here at all, in plain terms.
Short version: there’s nothing here to sign up to, no form to fill in, and nothing sold on this site directly. The one thing kept in your browser is a choice you make yourself.
What this site’s own code stores in your browser
One thing: whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It’s kept in your browser’s local storage, it isn’t a cookie, it’s never sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes it.
That’s the only thing this site’s own code puts in your browser.
Links that leave this site
Some pages link to companies that sell something — car hire, pre-booked transfers, flight compensation claims. Those links go through an internal redirect on this domain and then out to the partner. What that means in practice:
- the partner learns that you arrived from this site, which is how the arrangement described on the affiliate disclosure page works at all;
- the partner doesn’t learn anything about you from us, because we have nothing to pass on;
- once you’re on their site, their privacy policy applies, not this one — and their cookie banner, if they have one, is theirs.
The same is true of every ordinary link off this site. Nothing about following a link tells us who followed it.
What’s never collected
No accounts, no logins, no profiles. There’s nothing here to sign up to.
No forms. There’s no contact form and no newsletter; the only channel is email, on the contact page. If you write, the message and your address sit in a mailbox like any other email, used to answer you.
No payment details, ever. Nothing is sold here directly. Any transaction happens on the partner’s own site, under their terms.
No data sold or shared. There’s nothing to sell.
If you want something removed
If you’ve emailed and would rather the message didn’t sit in a mailbox, say so and it gets deleted. A mailbox is the only place anything you sent is held.
When this changes
If the site starts doing something this page doesn’t describe, this page changes first. It’s a statement about how the site is actually built, checked against the code rather than written from memory.
